David, thanks for getting LR's GABBA fest set to Kat for me...you're a sweetheart..She promised me she will get that LR/Jaimoe show out to you and El..I only wish I could see your faces when you hear the great things LR has to say about your dear friend...gonna make ya'll smile! I know you will share and I love ya'll for it..no comment on superball fest.. didnt watch.. (but I can see the t-shirts now..frontal nudity..its not just for ABB concerts anymore..) sorry...anyway..I did something I havnt done in nearly 2 years..worked in the garden.......please nobody mind my sharing....scroll if you cant stand it.. I had neglected the garden Heather and I dedicated, first to Duane, then to Brothers Berry and Joe Dan...for nearly 2 years now...A phone call from old, dear, friends letting me know it was time to throw a garden party (feb 14) and guide hikes into my beloved swamps jolted me from my no shows blues..I did something symbolic and also healing..I added a few blue-gray flagstones to a patio/pathway that I had abrubtly stopped working on the day Heddy flew away without warning...Fate is a terrible thing...Bird..just want you to know, you are always in my prayers...anyway..for the love of having something to look foward to...I am having this garden party on feb 14...the FLA Native Plant Soc and other good ecology minded nature loving friends are all coming to tour Duane's garden....they are the ones that set the date..but dont ya'll think it is quite appropriate?..As with all garden tours, my friends will bring their own lunch, and I will provide coffee and too many chocolate chips muffins to go with...and even better..treat a great group of folks to the music of Duane Allman...Kevin has scheduled the day off to help and enjoy the day too..... I cant wait! not as good as Beacon tix for sure..but kinda nice all the same...well..Grandbaby is napping and I have to get back to spreading seashells (for mulch..I hear tell in Hershey they mulch with cocoa bean hulls, in FLA, I use seashells...) on the wildflower beds...Hey Karen..my Canadian friends were here this morning picking up a nice cache of Monarch butterfly eggs to bring home to Port Hope , Ont...wonderful people, obtain permits and drive all the way here to South FLA to bring Monarch eggs back to Canada.. they amaze me......to Krishna..I enjoyed reading how you take your children to museums..when my wildlfowers set seeds, (soon) I can mail you some to start a butterfly/hummingbird garden for your kids, if you're interested..peaches ya'll, Ca
