My first exposure to ABB music was sometime after the first album came out, so it was 1969 or 1970. I was attending Queensboro Community College (being that I wasn't smart enough to get into a four year college! LOL!), and a good friend of mine told me about this band that sounded so good. "You'll like them, you like guitars and you like blues, don't you?" he said. He also had his own apartment, and a kickass stereo, and I had neither. It became a ritual for me that if I went to visit him, I had to hear some ABB before we went out anywhere. When Filmore East came out, we had to Listen to You Don't Love Me, or I wasn't leaving.
