Good mornin' sweet family, Greenville '96 was indeed a jaw-dropping show ... and I'm blessed to have a very, very special momento and memory from it. After the concert I caught up with Jaimoe, who was wearing his hair in long cornrow braids at the time, backstage for a hug and asked him if the ABB realized how incredible it had been. He shrugged off the compliment, told me "Wait here", and walked over to the buses. A few minutes later he came back, holding something in his closed right hand. As he placed that something in my left hand he said, "Your love makes men strong, Delilah" ... it was one of his braids. I'm not a person who accumulates a lot of gris-gris, but that braid is in my medicine pouch, an immediate and forever treasure. Take care and know that you are loved, Lana
