Brofan...amen on Robben Ford... first heard him as part of the LA Express and then explored his other work... Tom Scott is excellent himself but he also assembled some great musicans in his band... KC Jimmy ..i'm singin those blues too Bro.. here in KC we've got Sandstone Amp. 7 Starlight and some great OLD theatres like the Midland where i saw Dianna Krall recently. WHat a beautiful old place... just got Bonnie Raitt ticket for early june there. There is also the Uptown Theatre which is nothin fancy but a cozy place... Emmy Lou is playin there in 10 days... but for some reason we can't get the Bros there too much...they were there in '00 with Jimmy & Derek. And we did have P&F last summer but neither will be in KC this year. Makes it hard on the pocketbook travelin to Denver, SF, Chicago, NJ, Philly & NYC... but there is NUTHIN like a ROAD TRIP! So I'm hittin the CHicago show in June and then planning an August run... Thinkin about a PNC aka GArden State Arts Center, VA Beach & Raliegh run... this would allow stops at the Nut Hut, Green Pond, Fish Camp and Kinston, NC to see friends & family... and JimmyKC...AMER.UNIV. show set.. Statesboro,Trouble No More,Don't Keep Me WOnderin, Leave My Blues at Home, Stormy Monday, YDLM, & W.Post.
