...then again, DD/MM/YY is more recognized internationally - and since Lana and Rowland are such gracious hosts, they decided to date the "Guest Book" in that manner - thus making the guests feel the most comfortable, including those from outside of the USA.
The Forum is more of an American Institution, and less likely to be used by the more casual guests at this site. Therefore, it was decided to date the Forum posts in the MM/DD/YY format, which is more familiar to those from the USA.
That's my theory....
