Greetings and Happy New Year. :fanfare: :birthday: wishes to Corny and Nic. Two fine GBers, for sure. Hope you had wonderful days. Just back from what felt like a month away! Can't believe just yesterday I was in North Carolina in 75 degree weather! Just goes to show how quickly things can change. Carpe diem! I cannot express in words, the energy at the Visulite New Year's Eve. The band was HOT and the crowd was ready for them. I can think of nowhere else I would rather have been to ring in 2004. It was a total treat to spend time with some special GB family and to be blessed by ron the Baptist. I think I'm still sparkling! Sorry to hear the Benjamins had to duck out early. I was wondering to where you two disappeared. *pout* I can understand, though. Smoke-filled rooms and wooden stools can't be very comfy for a woman with child (and pregnant, too) Heh, heh..just poking at ya, Jim...*laugh* I kill me. Nice to see Holt, that train hopping fool and Kirby and Lisa, too. ron-e and Beth had a clan from Canada visiting for the show and it reminded me of another Canadian family that travels near and *mostly* far to see their favorite bands. *smile* Special thanks to Carol for being the DD. She's a special peach. What a great time at the Double Door, too! Carol is one who truly appreciates the music and her enthusiasm is contagious. She really gets involved in the blues scene in Charlotte and I'm sure it's all the better because of her efforts. Thanks, Sari, for the message. Got in late last night. Didn't think you wanted a return call at 12:30! *smile* I see you tracked down Lammie. He can run but he can't hide!
