Melissa... the folks up at Lake Winnepesaukee host the Biker Rally at Loudon and Weir's Beach every year... i think they have seen just about everything!! Gotta love all this bantering... Tom, Brent(SPDB), Brofan, Bum YO MOMMA!!! EYEEEEEEEEEE... I''m just happy as if i had good sense... Let's get Serial or Surreal or eat cereal and discuss this some more... Bobo perfect post... no one cares what each other likes really.. but i think they(Media Moguls) ought to have someone from a journalistic standpoint, who has a basis of expertise on their subject matter. they don't have to be a fan or be biased towards them... but they should be KNOWLEDGEABLE and follow them as they evolve. otherwise they're pooping in their hat. the media manipulates their audiences. even this rag... the folks that love 'em and follow em(ABB) aren't gonna be swayed...but what if somebody who used to follow the band or has heard things about the band from 'others read this article?? could it sway those folks to stay away?? Matt stated that there were not enough young Jam Band folks followin the Bros... Well if they read his article.... they not about to start now either... Does that effect you & I ?? well it could effect the band in terms of cd sales and selling out larger venues. at the very least it's not good PR... Can you imagine watchin a college football or basketball game and the announcers have no idea who the players are or their history?? (ok Brent Musberger aside) Or having a White House spokesperson like Chevy Chase or Chris Farley?? Watch Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher for a week and get a real hoot when you hear some celebrities' uninformed viewpoints on all kinds of subject matters. as it has been stated by many (Bobo, Tom, Rich, etc.) this cat Matt is not gonna affect you & I and our feelings towards the ABB and their music... but it sure as shite isn't the kind of "Trolling for New Fans " campaign the ABB needs...
