From today's "Parade" magazine: Lynn Minton's column "Fresh Voices" asks teenagers about different issues going on in this world. Today's topic is "The Grammys are tonight, so we asked teens what they listen to." Aaron Otto, 18, from Pahokee, FL, is quoted: "I like the same music my parents listened to, like the Allman Brothers and Springsteen. My mom and I have seen acts that she and my dad saw 30 years ago. It brings back good times for her and gives me memories that will last a lifetime." :clapping: Parade's top high school football players were listed today, as well, and I believe the top QB is from Seabreeze HS in Daytona Beach. Isn't that where the Allman boys went? Woody, it would be difficult to walk past Lana and not "know" that it's her. I was walking around between the ABB's and Phil Lesh and Friends' sets at VA Beach in August 2001. I walked past a group of folks gathered around someone who was laughing with everyone and giving out hugs and kisses. I walked up to that person and said something original like, "You must be Lana!" It was! My life has been SO much better ever since that day! :inlove2: I saw the Subdudes perform two sets from front row center in a small theater here in RVA last night. It was a fine, fine night of music. How's everyone at JSBC this morning? Enjoy your Sunday!
