rowland.... 4/26/71 was a real fun time...... actually hung out tonight with 2 of the people that i went with.... New Riders opened so we got to see Jerry twice.... and smoke was indeed thick..... considering the fillmore buzz flashlights anyways... great music.....and some it is on the skullf*ck album....I think Wharf Rat & Big Boss Man come from that show......great pig night too.... and then the second set opened with Duane...I remember it very well.... we flipped of course...having just been blown away by the brothers 3/11/71 fillmore show... I wished Duane was louder in the mix..... his amp seemed tiny (we were in the mezzanine)..... but i definitely heard him....he was blazing.....it was great... perhaps we'll hear the real masters some day in the duane box set i guess..... they really should be heard.... peach....
