There is some cosmic connection here, this morning I was REALLY enjoying my first "official” trade tape. I coughed up 9-23-00 and Randall provided DBB 1988 (thanks bud). This tape kicks a$$. I was thinking as I drove to work that reconciliation is really needed. Everyone here knows I dearly love the ABB in every flavor and have always been a GA fan, but Dickey sooooo smooth. He really has no equal and that the band is very different without that man. The current version just doesn't transition from one riff to another like they used to, although I can do without the bad vibes that permeated the stage in the late 90's. I have this weird running daydream of an ABB that has the blues influence of the original (and new) and the incredible flow that Dickey provides. So damn it I agree with Tommy, if we learned nothing else, we ain't getting any younger and it would be nice to see them together before we're all too senile to remember why we liked them in the first place.
