We would like to hear some of the explanations and descriptions given by Beacon "dudes" given to spouses, girlfriends and mistresses as to why they can't take them along to their personal planned 10 day Beacon extravaganza next year...... You'd be bored dear It's really just a guy thing You would not like the smog and crowds NYC is nothing but muggers There is absolutely nothing to do in the off 22 hours between shows The food in that whole city is awful You would be bored when we all gather and have ABB study groups and exchange facts for hours The Beacon staff regularly have police on all floors due to the riots and crime sprees Central Park is a block away and you know about that place All my GB friends are really just old hippies who have milk and cookies and tuck in at 10:00 The Beacon Hotel never has hot water during March It would cost an extra $2,765.33 to take you dear, and think about the kids college and new clothes Really dear, all that is true... it would be a real drag for you, why don't you join a bridge club or go to a matinee with the girls? And yes, after 2 solo jaunts, number 3 includes a mandatory tag along, who finally decided all my lame explanations were pretty bad, so I MUST take her this time (it may even be fun)......
