Beautifully written Turnitup!...Sounds like the Brothers really did turn it up and turned it on!
I guess the bottom line is: This great collection of players that we're currently enjoying in the ABB really is "A BAND" not just good players that play well together. I've been noticing lots of different sounding jams and different approaches lately to the same great songs which we have been listening to for years. Whether this lineup is your favorite or not...they certainly are the "freshest" and probably willing to take more chances than any other... I for one, happen to like that approach.
You know the old saying: "The whole is greater than the sum of the parts"? Well this certainly applies with this amazing group of musicians...but it sure doesn't hurt when the parts are as good as they are either!
