Dateline San Diego 9/06/03 As the Brother's finish another amazing night of musicianship, Peter Frampton's "A Penny For Your Thoughts" starts playing as they leave the stage. I am overwhelmed at the performance standing there like they will play on forever in a time warp of pure harmony. Mean while my Homie Joe Dog immediately recognizes Framptons tune. You called it says the girl standing next to us about the opening song. Not that important really just a feeling about the night. And what a night complete with just about eveything a fan would want. The best twin guitar duo on the planet, sure go ahead and look around and then we'll see. A drum rhythm section that has been together for over 30 years. An off the hook bassist, then Mr. Allman himself, come on. After listening to the album and seeing them in person, a Grammy nomination are you listening world "a done deal". Rock and roll is being carried by this Band at the present moment. Derrick Trunks what a pleasure to listen to. This was the first time I had seen him WOW. My first impression was he is a channel of greatness. As they rest in Los Angeles tonight, I hope the music industry takes the time to listen to the sound of true Rock n Roll.
