Sure thang Billy! Can you wait to the Duane Jam? I hope to be in the Heart-O-Dixie then. Hey there Mountaindew. I certainly respect your opinion. I'm not a big Kid Rock fan either, but...................what you were seeing was Kid using Midnight Rider to segue into his song Cowboy which I happen to think is pretty cool. For the musicians out there Kid was singing Midnight Rider out of the key of A which again I thought sounded pretty cool. If you would have watched further you would have seen Kid and Bocephus sitting around pickin' acoustics. The narrarator asked Kid what songs of Hank Jr.s did he get into growing up. Young Bob told him that he dug the lp Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound especially Hank's version of Come And Go Blues. So in the span of 30 minutes concerning Kid Rock and Bocephus the ABB has been prominently featured twice. As they say in the business, "You can't buy that kind a publicity." Wheather or not you like Kid Rock or Hank Williams Jr. for that matter, they are widely respected, sell tons of records and probably have fans every bit as fervent as the Peach Heads. If Hank Jr and Kid Rock can help sell a few more copies of HTN, I certainly don't think the band will mind. A hit record for the boys would surely grease the machine for everybody. Much like it did in '73. Personally I say more power to 'em. I hope you can see things maybe in a new light. Also if you looked carefully you would have seen playing harmonica in the Bama Band none other than Mr. Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie fame. Jimmy's got to feed his children and evidently playing with Kid Rock wasn't that big a step down for him. Who knows it might even be a career move for all of us. Peace y'all. Now on to weedeating...............ARRRRRRGH!!!
