I started to write this yesterday but didn't finish. I just want to give a big ol' cyberhug to all who stopped by for all the fun this past weekend. We raised $150.00 for Rock and Wrap it Up through you generous donations. The Relix and Hittin' the Note magazines were some nice icing on the cupcake. And speaking of baked goods, thanks to all who contributed in that area, Sherry Bluesky, Lana, Leah, Joel and one or two others. You all know your way around a cookie recipe (or the way to a good bakery!) I'm going to try to list some of the new faces I met this year, and I have to start with AllmanBroVette, Bruce S. from Florida (my chat buddy). Thank you so much for your help by loaning us the chairs from your room and keeping the overflow of beer, etc. in your fridge. We got a late start from home (limo driver was 1 1/2 hrs. late) and got to the hotel at 4:30, just when we told the masses to stop by. Before we knew it, the room was full! Thanks also to Leah's friend Chuck for his help. Mitch, finally nice to meet you too...I think from now on you can be the official photographer of the Sweetie Suite if you want the job. Johnny from the Fishcamp...glad you're on board for next year...TuffJew (Bruce, Neil, oh yeah! Joel), we finally said 'hello' after all the e-mails...Bum in Boston and Mt. Dew, next time come earlier and stay later...Tim and Karen Hudson...you're not TOO far away, come on up for the 4/13 Mule show in Philly (it's on a Saturday!)...Jody, next year, come on Friday and stay 'til Sunday at least...Mark and Melanie Greenberg, dinner was fun, enjoy your new place in NYC...DelDavis, did you make it back to Norway yet? (I know, NOT Denmark!)...Frank U. and friends drove 17 hours from Minnesota, just missing a snowstorm, hope you made it home ok...Buka, any friend of Jim and Lammie's is a friend of the devil, right? NYPeachhead...next time you stay longer, too! Syd's cousin (I forgot your name!), you are a true ABB fan, especially for spreading the Peach to your kids. I know I'm forgetting some new (to me) names and faces, please forgive me, and please come back next year!?!?! 😀
