Thanks to all for the kind thoughts. Funny how people you work with can be totally indifferent (not that I broadcast my problems at work-everyone has their own issues-or crosses-to bear) and how total strangers can offer their support to another total stranger (although I have had the pleasure of meeting many of you in person-not sure if it was mutual LOL). It's obvious by many of the responses here that many of you have dealt with loss. It's a character builder and definitely makes you stronger. Since I have no kids, my parenting skills are non-existent and I'm finding in dealing with my real dad that you just learn on the fly. Talk about role reversal. Yikes! Life is about change, if nothing else. Sorry for the Philosophy 101 lecture. Great to see the ABB on Leno and I wish I could have watched the whole show to see if I could have spotted the West Coast ABB Mafia but apparently they were deemed not camera worthy during my limited viewing time. Great review by Scotty, as usual. He really makes you feel like you were there.
