I just picked up the new Derek Trucks Band album "Soul Serenade," and I must say it is mighty fine so far. As I'm sure everyone has heard by now, Gregg guests on "Drown In My Own Tears"--not to be confused with the Smithereens song by the same name--and sounds absolutely terrific. Very fresh and clear, kind of reminds me of the "Enlightened Rogues" days, or perhaps else one of his solo albums.
Anyway, it is great stuff, so get out there and grab you a copy!
