Not that I needed to be reminded why I love this band, but the last 2 nights were just over the top. Five and a half hours of great music, with no repeats. Topped off by Layla. What more can I say? I also sat there thinking I was crazy for thinking they were playing Blue Sky in Mountain Jam. Wow. 5th row center tickets last night - Thanks for the presale Lana! It was great seeing everybody at Berghoff's! Nellie1123 and I went to Buddy Guy's last night for Buddy's birthday. James Mathus (Squirrel Nut Zippers) Knock Down Society was playing. Buddy was getting ready to leave, heard a song he liked, and went up on stage and sang. He left, but Phil Guy (Buddy's brother), came up on stage and played 4-5 songs with the drummer from the Knock Down Society, another guitarist, And Greg Rzab on bass. One of the songs was 'Miss You' by the Stones. Afterwards, I asked Greg if he was going to be Mule's bass player. He said "I'd sure like to be". What a great couple of days. :dance:
