Caught both shows in Chicago, and while the Tuesday show was great, the Wednesday show was absolutely transcendent. The crowd never sat down - much more into it then the Tuesday group. The band just clicked last night, everything seemed to fall into place - I can't put my finger on it, but the band seemed to feed off of the crowd, and vice versa. Gregg was like a different performer last night - absolutely on top of his game. The Layla encore was electrifying - it was the only song that could have done justice to closing this performance, without a doubt the highlight of my entire concert-going experience.
