:DI've got to type this in Word and copy and paste because I'm typing (and thinking) :confused:so slowly I'd surely get timed out if I tried the traditional method. Other than the flight from purgatory last night (someone told me it could have been worse so it wasn't all the way to hell). What a weekend!!! After getting outted early by Jeanne as Gomer bringing cuzzins Goober, Barney and Floyd to the city  (Hey, what's with these GB gals? Last year Pony Girl tags me as an accountant ((Oh No!!! Now I'm Howard Sprigg!))and this year Jeanne wonders if I'm livin' in Lizard Lick now. :confused:Tattoo Neil, help me out Brother! Skull and crossbones on the shoulder might enlighten these "ladies") I"m bad, I really am!!:p Honest! What were we talking about? Oh yeah. You"ve heard of the Hospitality Sweeties. Well, words don't do 'em justice. As my son, Goober said, Dad, you can feel the love here. Goooollllleeeeeee!!!! :eek:Unlike some of you wimps who aren't gwine to attempt the mention the fine GBr's we hooked up with, I wanna give props to everyone I met who helped make this such an awesome moment in time. It's such a thrill to see the great friends from last year and the B2P experience. It's a whole 'nuther thrill meeting new GBrs face to face for the first time. The Lammie-Peachnutt jam has been given some mention here, but I'm here to tell you it was as fine a "Motel Shot" as I've ever heard. :cool:Fun song after fun song and those guys tore it up. A very touching and heartfelt "Will the Circle be Unbroken" for our friends Carol and Kevin and our Angel Heather. The smiles on everyone's faces just about eclipsed the lights of the Big Apple itself. Then Lana has to bring Mark in and gets everyone singing and dancing on the ceiling. :D:rolleyes::eek: (Note to cuzzin Floyd ((Tommy)): YDLM has more than one verse.) Well, obviously that was way more fun than should be allowed so the door swings open and "management" informs us that we're waaaaay too loud and folks are complaining. I've been thrown out of better joints than that but we carried our SE grins up to the greatest hotel room in the history of lodging and let the recovery begin. Sunday found us at the Manhattan Diner having breakfast with one of the "stars" (Lammie), although he may have been a little closer to Josh's "Lamedog" description after Saturday night's activities. We also had the "whole dadburned country contingent" 😮 as well as Jeanne, Rich, and my new girlfriend (who doesn't think I'm so country after all), Jody D from central NJ:D. Anyway, getting back to the Hospitality Sweeties, (and what a great thought that is) "The Best of them all", Jacquie, Terri, Sherrie, Carole, Jeanne, Erica, Amie, Elle, Gwynneth, Halle, Marilyn, Betty, Veronica, Demi, Raquel, Oh wait, I"m drifting out again. Needless to say, my Beacon schedule is now dictated by whichever weekend the "Sweeties" are there. Getting back to new/old friends, Peachnutt, Marley, Stormy, Brofan, Joel (Woooooo!!), Peachmaniac from Maine, Mitch, Mike, Mic-shy, Scott Seay, Del Davis from Oslo, which I found out was not in Sweden, Lamdog, the Florida Peach Deb, Leah, my great friend Bird 72, Melissaphish and her lucky boytoy (just kidding Gary), um, um, um. Great, just when I got my brain cells down to a manageable level I go and leave a few more on the 22nd floor. Okay, so I can't remember all the names. Right after I hit the submit button I'll think of ten more. Hey Jeanne, are we still meeting in the Village?? I'll wait by the theeeeaayyeterr!:p :DJohnny
