This was the first year for the 10K Lakes Festival in beautiful northern Minnesota and the people running it pulled off a good one. Held on the grounds of the WE Fest, the sponsors have more than a little experience putting on a festival. This was about 1/4th the size of WE Fest. No lines for anything, great sound system. We talked to the media personel on the way in asked them how the crowds were. The lady smiled and said "They great, they're all hippies" 🙂 I guess the "hippies" are a bit more laid back than the country and western crowd. I think this festival has a good chance of being a long running annual event. The boys put on a great show. It was really strange to seem them play in the full afternoon sun. They had a start time of about 6pm. I still not sure why they weren't the headlining act. Dreams was especially weird to hear in daylight. I had to close my eyes to listen to it. -Rick This should be pretty accurate: 10,000 Lakes Festival Soo Pass Ranch Detroit Lakes, MN Revival Ain't wastin' time no more Statesburo blues Woman across the river Midnight Rider No one to run with Desdemona Good morning little school girl (Danny Louis on piano) Rocking Horse Dreams (Derek solo>Oteil solo>Derek solo) Instrumental Illness> Volunteered Slavery quote (Derek)> drums> bass solo with full band> Instrumental Illness One way out (Encore) Whipping Post
