Hey, y'all, If you're ANYWHERE near Atlanta, I cannot recommend any more strongly going to see YSB at Cafe 290 this weekend. I'd drive down, but we have plans, set in stone, made long before this was scheduled. I drove down last year, and all I can say is: the room is friendly and comfortable, REALLY comfy. the sound is fabulous. it's small and intimate, yet uncrowded and spacious. did i mention it's really inexpensive?the sets begin EARLY and last LATE (that 8:30 - 1:30 isn't a misprint -- it was like 4 or 5 sets last year!) you never know who's going to show up and play, or what YSB will play. the band is every bit as tight w/o the guitar as with it and, like i said, i drove 550 miles RT, went 2 nights in a row, and if i could get away this weekend, i'd do it again. have fun, y'all Pam wrote: The copy & paste trick... For all my friends in and around Atlanta! The Yonrico Scott Band will be playing in Atlanta this weekend! The YSB consists of Yonrico Scott on drums & percussion, Todd Smallie on bass, and Kofi Burbridge on Hammond B-3, keys & flute. These hometown shows are always great and you never know who may stop by, don't miss out! Show details: Fri & Sat June 27&28 8:30 PM - 1:30 AM Café 290 290 Hilderbrand Dr NE Atlanta (Sandy Springs), GA 404-256-3942
