Happy Summer, Michael!! See ya when it's in full swing in August. Aren't those Blind Bama Boys AMAZING? If they don't get your heart pumping...I'm afraid it never will. Hoo boy!! Glad the RAWIU dinner was a success. Hope lots of $$ was raised and some folks were turned on to the human side of the Allman Brothers and the extended family. It always gives me shivers to hear Warren sing Into The Mystic but tonight....*sigh*....tonight, the caravan is on its way and leading is none other than the master himself: Van the Man Morrison!! I have to tell ya....that man gives me shivers no matter what comes out of his mouth. You know what I'm talking about? The grunt, the oooh, the daa da daa's he so perfectly inserts. The inflection in his voice...his impeccable timing...the passion!! It rocks my gypsy soul like nothing else (Derek's guitar playing aside!) Yes, you can say it stones me. So tonight...I will send Glad Tidings from New York (In the Garden, no less!) as the captain unfurls my sails and I head straight into the mystic. It's too late to stop now.
