I respect the heck out of RedDog in a special way. Talk about being a part of the ground floor! I always try to be respectful of RD in debate, regardless of what he posts.
I also respect the wonderful feelings that so many fans have experienced & describe over the past 10 years. The music and fellowship I've experienced in the past 20 ABB years, including this unexpected cool run since 2000, has been *very* real to me, even if it paled in comparison to the early 70s. I was a baby then so I can't really lament missing it.
