Ed -- this should not be true --- Live365, who hosts the station, has changed their service but they give me the option to pay them to allow a number of free concurrent listeners. The more I pay, the more concurrent listeners there can be. I am currently paying them enough to cover the max number of concurrent listeners we have had, and within reason intend to keep doing so. I moved the server that supplies Radio HTW today and just brought it back online 20 minutes ago -- maybe you got caught while it was offline and it made you think you had to pay? Anyway, Live365 does have very real expenses to cover and they are trying to give people incentives to subscribe to their "preferred listening" plan, but you should be able to get exactly the same Radio HTW service you have had in the past for free.
