Pam - I am very sorry we missed you at Peekskill..... Next time we will have to plan. We had the great good fortune of seeing DTB Friday and Saturday night. We also had the pleasure of shaking hands with Derek, Kofi and Rico after the Friday show. Punchline for all this --- Go see this Band. Friday night was outstanding and Saturday was close behind IMHO....... from Friday's Sahib Teri opener - to Saturday's Joyful Noise closer --- the Band took us on a great ride --- They are very very tight .... Mike's voice is better than ever and he has worked some great phrasing in, Kofi is stepping out a bit more in soloing - he was killer with piano fills in 44 Blues and had the Jimmy Smith swing thing going on the organ too --- Todd continues to just weave around what everyone is doing - he listens and plays complementary so well - he does so much - Rico - IMHO - one of the best drummers I have ever seen period. and who else ??? Oh yes, Derek - the magic is still there - he plays nasty, hypnotic, beautiful, lyrical stuff. Again -IMHO one of the best of all time and there's no one I'd rather listen to play guitar. Take care folks.......... Go see this Band !!!!!!!!
