I was thinking the order of Midnight Rider & Statesboro was the other way around in Lansing, but I won't question DIGDAVE. I looked around to see if anyone was taping, but I didn't see anyone doing so. I sure hope this show gets out. It was a good one. The problem is that all of their promotional literature, website, etc. made it clear that recording devices of any kind were not permitted. There were signs around the downtown area and at the entrance stating the same thing. Then right before the band came out, the DJ from the local rock station that was introducing them encouraged people to tape the show. I thought to myself, yeah I'll just run right out to my car, get my gear then wait another hour in line to get in. It would be nice for this area if the festival succeeded, but they need to get more professional about how they operate it if they want people to take it seriously. They are hoping to make a profit this year for the first time in it's 4-year history. I wish them well. :noway:
