5/7/00 was a terrific show, in my opinion. Gigantic crowd, especially considering that I had seen the band in front of maybe 4,000 people (probably a generous estimate) at the Mobile Civic Center a week before. Lots of good stuff--"Rave On," "True Gravity," "J.J.'s Alley" all stand out. Who knew at the time that that show would turn out to be the last one for Brother Dickey? We were already counting the days 'til the next one as soon as the Music Midtown gig was over... Libby, I was most definitely in the right state of mind for that show too!! Woswers. EAPFP .
