Mitch,
After all those years of tryin to sneak down to better seats...yes it was an experience, kind of like havin the band in your living room with 5,000 guests.
Skydog,
When I first arrived in LA last year,I stayed in a hostel where I'd normally stay if I was just passin thru or lookin for my own place. The whole time I was there I was thinkin of my girl who was cryin over the phone becuase she didn't think I was gonna stay, so I went overboard when she came to visit...but live and learn...the funniest thing she said to me was when we took a cruise up the coast to San Luis Obisbo and over to Bakerfield and just needed a place to crash for the night, so I pulled into some cheap hotel cause I knew we wouldn't be there long, only to catch a few zzz's...the kind of the places you'd stay if you were drivin cross country...and she says in her Italian Jewish Brooklyn accent..."This is the kind of place you'd see on cops..." We were kind of like the show Green Acres...she wanted to live on Park Avenue and I down on the farm...it was fun while it lasted.
Bird,
Remember, I've been to Whitefish and know where you live. Heaven on earth. I may be up in East Glacier this July as I work my way cross country, hopefully settling down in time to catch the Brother's at The Greek in September.
Still buzzin...
