a fictional interview, given over the last couple of days, with the GuestBoard, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks and Dickey Betts- GB- so now that we have the three of you together, tell us how you feel WH- damn man, i don't know, i just want to play music. i don't care who i play with. i will play with anyone. DT- did ya catch my shows at the "blue note"? man they were smokin' shows. DB- did i say i was sorry? hey gregg and butch- that was then/this is now- can we talk? GB- there is a lot of critical aclaim for the new CD "HTN". tell us how you feel about that- WH- damn man, i love that CD. my band is really cookin' right now. oh, yeah, gregg is really great also. DT- my uncle really drives the band and i love playing with warren. most nights the others are really pretty good also. DB- i really miss my friends in the band and uh, what was the other question? GB- nixon made friends with china, reagun made friends with russia. do you think that the ABB will make friends with the ghosts of the past? WH- damn man, i don't know. i just want to play music with my bands. maybe if the ghost asked nicely. DT- uh, you'll have to ask my uncle about that. DB- hell man, i feel like a ghost. i know i done wrong. i feel like a divorced parent feels-i am proud of my child but i am not in their life right now. i hope to reconcile. GB-what would it take for all to "kiss and make up?" WH- damn man, i don't know, i just want to play music. dickey is one of my best friends, outside of my bands. DT- uh, you'll have to ask my uncle and gregg about that. DB- did i say i was sorry?
