"Put the protesters in jail, lose their paperwork until the war is over, or give them a one way ticket to Iraz if this country is not good enough for them. Don't they realize that freedom has a high price, but nothing is more important to a country."
The American Revolution began with a bunch of protesters dumping tea into Boston Harbor. And those same protesters eventually went to war to earn their freedom. They couldn't have done that if they had been thrown in jail or deported (which the British would have loved to do).
Too many good men and women have lost their lives to give protesters the freedom to protest against our government when they think the government is wrong. If you don't allow that freedom to be exercised, then what was the point of those lost lives? Protesting against a war isn't protesting against the warriors. Think about it.
