Hi all, Thank you so much for your hospitality and friendliness Saturday night. After 5 years lurking here and on the old site, I finally met a lot of frequent-posters at a pre-party at the Beacon hotel. When I walked in the room, I immediately met people that I felt like I KNEW! It was like walking into a novel, really, where the characters came to life. Meeting an on-line community in the flesh is a powerful experience. I hope I didn't frighten anyone with my enthusiasm, but I was just this side of overwhelmed. I've done a lot of work in my field of Instructional Design and Distance Learning with eCommunities. It's a beautiful thing when these folks meet - especially for the first time.
