I got a PM from someone named "phonotechno" that didn't have anything in the "Subject Line." Well, if you don't put something in the "Subject Line", there's nothing to click on to read it. Try again if ya wanna, but I have to delete this one unread. Congrats to the happy couple + 1. Got a new burner today. For anyone interested, CompUSA is having one helluva sale on several different brands/models of computer burners. Sale ends Saturday though, so jump on it if you're interested. After rebates the one I got will only be $59.00. It's a 24x Write/10x Rewrite/40x Read. Not bad for 60 bucks. Tested it twice so far with the Nero burning software that came with it and burned a copy of one disc at 8x that came out just fine. 2nd experiment was at 12x. Everything sounds fine but it burned it TAO. Settings show DAO so I don't know if it's the new software or the burner trying to outrun my wood burnin' puter or what. I'll get it all figured out before I make any offers though. After I sell some more of my guitar gear I'm going to upgrade this ol' wood burner anyway. Maybe I should wait till then to make any offers. We'll see. I have a killer Bonnie Raitte with Lowell George comin' in thanks to the awesome-est, hippest cat I know, Rev. Tim. Oh, almost forgot, I also picked up a 50-pak of TDK 80/700 media that will only be $4.95 after rebates. Heck, I wasn't disappointed with 'em when they rang up for $14.95, which reflects an instant rebate, but then I saw the ad sittin' right there by the cash register and there it was, another mail-in rebate of 10 bucks for the same discs.
