Dont have a whole lotta time today... buried in work. A few last notes on the show last night though: First off... show wasnt close to selling out - much of the upper balc lay empty. I dont think its ever been that vacant... strange. A shame too... it was outstanding. Last part of the first set - Rocking Horse, Black Hearted Woman, and YDLM. Amazing the energy that two guitars can create. All three songs had smokin' solos in them. BHW winded down and they went into a jam for a bit before YDLM, and teased Instrumental Illness. (Faked JT and I into thinking they were going into it, those sneaky ABBrothers!!!) YDLM was going real strong too when Gregg just seemed to cut in and abruptly end the guitar duel by Warren and Derek to close the song out. Understandable... they were just running away with the show 🙂 and I'm sure Gregg needed a breather. Also needed to comment on the Southbound with Audley Freed. No one "sat out" for his guest spot. Three awesome guitars traded licks back and forth for this gem. What a hot version! Amazing that the night after St Pattys, the crowd (and the band for that matter) had so much energy. After the OWO encore, people still stuck around screaming for more (Post was yelled many times by the two of us), but to no avail. Thats it 'till the 29th for me. Enjoy the run for those attending this weekend - and travel safely. Peace.
