Enjoyed the show last night from row a. Amazing encore- LAYLA(!) and Mountain Jam. Butch came out front and introduced Layla- dedicated to Duane and Tom Dowd, "something we've never done before - we think you'll like it"...other highlights: a smoking You Don't Love Me to open, Stand Back, Soulshine with Warren & Gregg trading vocals, great Rocking Horse, Warren on Hootchie Cootchie Man, and a terrific Statesboro Blues before the new instrumental and the historic encore. The only dissappointment was that the new cd was not on sale early- according to the concession stand person it will be there tonight(Sat.). Looking forward to seeing Terri and the gang on Friday.To everyone making the trip to the Beacon this year, enjoy! p.s. Seton Hall for NCAA tourney!
