"OK folks here is the deal on Wasted Words:
It was last played on 8/24/74 at Ladd Memorial Stadium in Mobile, AL.
It was played a total of 37 times in the period of 12/31/72 through 8/24/74.
What is probably interesting about this tune is that I will bet it was played in the number one hole every time it was played! I did a random check and that was so, but I didn't bother to confirm it.
Also Gregg always came out with an electric geetar on this tune, something else I don't recall seeing him do, although it would be hard to imagine this never happened on another song. Anyway I agree with Rowland, it is time to dust this puppy off!"
