Tribute show with Scott Sharrard tonight in NYC:
"Our show tomorrow night at Bar Chord will be dedicated to our fallen comrade and mentor Butch Trucks. In honor of the best 2 drum team in Rock and Roll history, we will be doing a 2 drum set performance with Sean Dixon and Moses Patrou, Eric Finland on B-3 and Brett Bass on the bass. (930pm-1230, 2 sets, no cover). Butch was a noisy and raucous human being, he possessed a spiritual fire underneath all that bluster. Essential elements to being a freight train of groove. Like so many shows dedicated to the recently fallen, we will honor that spiritual fire more than anything and continue to try to stoke the flame. Onwards"
