hard not to think of the good people of Boston today when I think of Boston, I think of a LIVE recording that circulated ,sometime after Dickey went back out on the road, solo, with the DBB. It was nearing the end of the tour, maybe even the last show. Dickey was cleary exhausted, I could hear it in his voice, mournful and lovely, but also beat up on. Suddenly, as Dickey sang "I hope you'll understand" a beautiful backup of rich baratone voices, with the Boston twang to them , sang out loud and clear - "that I was born a Rambling Man ..." Boston strong indeed
