thanks to fanfare for sharing Dan's Memorial with us, and Rainy for the great article..I love Wade Tangelo's article, it is clear he is a fan first.. Kevin and I were unable to attend due to business commitments, thankful we had so many opportunities to spend some time with Danny this past year... We had a rare treat at our fav Irish pub last night.. the Icelandic cod was as great as always, the Guinness cold..yet rather than Ill Take You Home Again Kathleen and Beyond the Shannon River, we heard strains of Franklins Tower .. I thought my ears were playing tricks on me, but no, the young band came to play, and were every bit students of Duane & Dickey..FT led straight into a very pretty Blue Sky, the guitarist somehow managing to balance the twin guitar leads solo. Il try and research his name, he earned a heads up. As if that wasnt enuf, they threw in a lively Statesboro to oblige a fan from Massachusetts that had jumped out of his skin at the first hint of anything ABB. Brother David, so happy for you...just incredible 🙂
