I most certainly do not think the ABB management is a bunch of "thieves". Why don't you prove that statement, or retract it. I've been promoting bands since 1992. Every band I've ever booked, any promoter I've worked with or any venue I've ever used is the same formula. We come to an agreed upon price, we send 50% of that price to the band in advance. We work with the venue on lighting, sound, etc.. and then the promotor sets the price for tickets. The bands NEVER gets involved with ticket prices. Unless someone can prove otherwise, that is the way it works. If you have a contract that shows differently, by all means let me know and I will retract my statement. To throw everyone associated with the inner workings of the ABB under the bus because you are angry about ticket prices, seem a bit .... over the top. I am also one of three people that mentioned this normal, status quo arrangement with band and promoters.
