Wonwayout...I think you may be surprised that you could probably pull a second show for cheaper than you think, but it would take some work/online investigation time. And that kind of work doesn't bode well for getting a large group of friends together from around the country, when advance plans & reservations are required. It was so much easier 5-13 years ago. I think the band simply takes a guarantee at this point and pricing, sales etc are up to the promoter who takes the risk. They could probably weigh in on more the ticketing etc, but it would be more work on their end and I think they like just showing up and playing music. I went 1999-2009 when it was an easier & cheaper deal and it looks like the clock will never be turned back.
