Hello, I wanted to send out my positive thoughts and prayers to Jack Casady and family. Jack's wife Diana passed away at 3AM west coast time Sept 8th, 2012. I was lucky enough to have met Diana and Jack for the bass instruction camp in 1999 at the Fur Peace Ranch. They were so much fun. My first recollection of them was a dinner place in Chicago in 1990. My friends and I had gone to Chicago to see Hot Tuna at Park West and went out to dinner near by and unexpectedly saw them sitting across the room from us. I said to my friends who is that with Jack? They were hugging in a booth and acting like 2, 12 year olds. I remember her as a wonderful person who made jack very happy. Somewhere in the apartment I have a few pictures of Jack and Diana sitting next to us at camp. Diana had fought cancer since around 2001 and had put up a heck of a fight to control the cancer. Jack had just lost his brother Chic Casady a few months ago and now Diana. Charlie
