RIP Sherman Hensley...George Jefferson was a great influence in the 70's in breaking down the race barrier. Still laugh My a** off watching the reuns!
Soon iT will be the 43rd anniversary of Woodstock.....just watched a slide show of pix on MSN...........boy did the memories and goose bumps emerge.

The MUSIC,rain,mudslides, breakfast in bed for 300,000! Can still hear Wavey Gravy saying that. Country Joe singing the Fish Cheer....and CARLOS............OMG! Hope the ABB and Carlos tear up this tour....he is so right....WE ARE NOT OLD !!!! THE MUSIC LIVES WITHIN US AND KEEPS US YOUNG AT HEART !!!!
I am so fortunate to have experienced so much history in music and TV.
Maybe one day the youth of this earth will realize that violence is NOT the answer....
