Morning all. Gotta disagree with you Charesinator; death among the addicted does not bring relief to family and friends - only terrible guilt and sorrow. If only..... You can throw an intervention for someone you love and if they're not willing to go to help, there are ways to throw their asses into rehab where they can't get out. It doesn't always work, true. But, you gotta give it a try. Addiction is a treatable disease; there is no cure but there is a way to learn to not use....one day at a time. I've seen too many people throw their hands up in the air and give up. At some point, that's all one can do, true. Please remember that addiction and alcoholism is not a moral failing; it's not their fault.
