I just got back from a beautiful day in Macon, Georgia. Kirk West shot Donna Hopkins for her CD cover today at the Big House. When Donna first spoke to Kirk about the idea she had for her cover shot, she told him of a dream she had -- she had seen herself in an old wooden structure with a dirt floor, part inside, part outside. While she was describing it, Kirk kept nodding his head and saying, "Yeah, I got that."
Turned out the vision in her dream was the garage in back of the Big House, and that's where the shoot took place. It was pure magic!
And speaking of magic, the dTb show at the Variety Playhouse was totally amazing. It is so difficult to truly understand how each time I see the dTb they are so much better than the time before ... but it is part of their perfection that this is so. Be looking for a B&P on the Atlanta show within the next couple of days.
