Only made one other visit, Pat. A young blues gunslinger from B'ham, Todd Simpson. Left during the hip-hop version of Sweet Home Alabama. Close enough to walk home, if it came to that. 😀
Fat Dog is personal friends with Scott and most of the Decoys, as well as some of the CRS folks. He's also friends with Karen Gruber, and has been to Jack Pearson's home. So this situation has some real potential. He's also been to GABBAfest a time or two.
The crowds at the Col. Bruce show, the show at Fat Dog's, and the party at the Garages were about as different as you can imagine. The only thing they had in common was me. But then again, the music that evolved from Duane Allman's career encompasses a vastly diverse audience.
