Daytona Beach was firing on every cylinder last night... Nascar in town, Motorheads all aglow, racing flags and American flags flying high , hard-core Daytona bikers rumbling up and down Main Street, Floyd Mile, Tommy Talton and Cowboy lifting their voices to the heavens , sharing their talents... TT 'slide....rare, gorgeous...Have Mercy!
Kevin and I had drifted to a seat in the back for a moment of alone time, when someone on stage, perhaps it was Scott, started talking about the first time he met Brother Duane, how DA was sitting at a little table in the back corner, then he pointed toward where Kevin and I were sitting, and I felt that sort of shock , that realization of how much we all lost the day Heaven claimed Duane Allman for her own.
