Effie- I've been to many Gregg shows but this one was extra special. During Jaimoe's set while he was introducing the band he mentioned how he was borrowing Bruce Katz from Gregory for the evening. Of course he said it with the sincerity and dedication that Jaimoe has shown for the last 42 years. Gregg reciprocated at the beginning of his set introducing Jaimoe as his great long time friend who will be sitting in tonight. Another interesting occurrence that repeated during Gregg's set was when Jaimoe knew Gregg was going into a new tune he left his kit and got a little closer to Steve and Jerry to listen closely to what they were playing . He then went back to his kit and added his usual tasteful and appropriate drumming to the new song. Jaimoe looked like he was in awe of what was going on with Gregg's band and just had a great time the whole evening.
