I had posted this previously in the forum and want to bring this to the attention of Atlanta area folks looking for some entertainment this Saturday night: Since we are continuing to get hosed by all things Allman in the Atlanta area I thought I would point out that there will be an ABB tribute band playing at Smith's Olde Bar on Nov. 6th for those in need of a fix. Should be a fun night of music with some outstanding players including Benji Shanks (Captain Solarcat, Last Waltz Ensemble...Benji is a great guitarist, plays slide in the Derek Trucks vein), Ron Roper (Ron was part of an early incarnation of the Derek Trucks Band), Lefty Williams, and so on.
