Pedro and Dan's music at Macon's Capitol Theatre on Friday evening was awesome. After party at Grant's Lounge a special treat for all. So good to see many friends from afar in Macon for GABBA FEST. Sure did miss our friends from HITTIN' THE NOTE. It seemed strange first time attending an ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND connected event without the intenrnationally connective presence of Joe Bell and HTN crew. 2010 has been a bittersweet year in Macon, Georgia. Red Dog Campbell, Willie Perkins, Skoots Lyndon, Judi Petty, Kirk & Kirsten West, The Otis Redding Family, Chuck Leavell, Randall Bramblett, Edward Grant, Paul Hornsby, Larry Howard, The Walden Family, and Ron Blair with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers remain steadfast and special in the Hearts and Soul of Middle-Georgia's legendary music culture. My salute to them all and may Hittin' The Note ROCK ON with continuing good vibes throughout the universe !!
